Dear Friends,

Thank you for your continued support of Jerusalem Challenge.

Jerusalem is a meeting place for Jewish young adults from  all over the world. With the largest concentration of institutions for higher learning in Israel, Jerusalem attracts 35,000 Israelis every year and 10,000 young adults from the Diaspora to study, volunteer or intern. Add those 45,000  young adults to the many thousands of participants of Taglit Birthright Israel,  and other programs that choose to spend time in Jerusalem, and the conclusion is  clear: Jerusalem is major hub for Jewish Peoplehood.

Jerusalem Challenge was founded during the summer of 2010 to fulfill a vision of branding Jerusalem as a place where young adults actively participate in and build their community and their lives in our city.   Together we are developing Jerusalem Challenge to introduce a balance of pluralistic Jewish experiences, involvement in Tikkun Olam, and dialogue between young adults with diverse backgrounds in order to facilitate sustainable and meaningful relationships with Jerusalem.
